DC to DC Converter (Part I)

Many electronic devices are now found this, almost all parts of the run by one-way power source (DC). Providing DC power source, can be in the form of a battery, accumulator or power source (power supply) DC.Power supply that is used must have a clean DC output (filtered filter) and teregulasi well. In power conversion system, there are four types of processes, namely power conversion system.

  • AC to DC,
  • DC to DC,
  • DC to AC, and
  • AC to AC.

Furthermore, the development of technology, providing DC power not only in the range of ability to reduce or increase the power capacity and reduce the physical dimension, but also on how the processing power itself. In the first method used is known by the name of linear type (linear mode).
On the system AC to DC conversion, the type characterized by the use of linear combinations of the transformer 50/60Hz then proceed with the process penyearah (rectifier), filter (filter), and finally the linier (linear regulator).
